Perfecting Pac-Man

Orlando, Florida – March 7, 2013 – On the morning of March 9, 2013, David Cruz will attempt a perfect game of Pac-Man, making him the 7th person ever to do so when he accomplishes this goal—expected to take approximately 6 hours.

A perfect game is when a player reaches the first 255 levels, and eats every dot, power-pellet, ghost and fruit along the way … all without dying. It’s no simple feat. But, Mr. Cruz knows a thing or two about classic arcade games. He is the reigning TRON World Champion, with the world’s highest score of over 14,000,000 points.

The event will be held at BART, Orlando’s Best Arcade (according to The Daily City). BART is a hybrid arcade, gallery and bar located in the heart of the Mills 50 and ViMi district. Along with BART, is sponsoring the event, which is scheduled to begin around 11 a.m.
